What More Would You Like To Learn?

Though the Introduction to Computers (CPS 100), I could become familiar with computers compares with the past. For example, the lecture in Microsoft Word allowed me to notice beneficial points in writing academic essays or research papers.

For the further learning in manipulating computers in my life, I would like to acquire the skill of editing animations. When I browse some web pages, such as Youtube, I can find interesting hand-made videos there. Also, podcasting has becoming popular. Thus, there are video editors internationally.

I can convey a number of videos though the Internet after I have edited them. However, I sometimes hear that editors can unintentionally invade people’s right, such as copyright and portrait right.

To avoid such troubles and enjoy creating interesting videos, I would like to get appropriate knowledge about methods of making videos and dealing with rules for rights.

Viral VIdeo

Viral Video is a computer term that represents video crips’ contents by online services, such e-mail, blogs, and some web pages. These videos include a variety of criteria like strange, unpredictable, funny events. This viral video is a service that has been attracting many companies. Thus, they are making an attempt to construct efficient business models in order to catch numerous customers and huge benefits by providing entertaining videos whenever their customers want to enjoy it.

In contrast to the view of online business, viral video introduces individual pleasures to society. Nowadays, mobile phones have been widely spread internationally, and many of them have camera function. Camera phone enables people to enjoy making, editing videos. These videos do not intend to advertise products or services, but intend to be viewed among friends or family.

What Will Computers Be Like in the Future?

Since computers have been enhanced, they were remarkably affected our society in daily lives. In my opinion, information technology (IT) will be more useful to every person in any places in the world.

I think that computers will operate some roles based on humans’ voice. In the Back to the Future Part 2, Marty McFly Jr., the son of Marty McFly, spoke in front of TV to watch some TV programs simultaneously. After computers have recognized his order, TV programs appeared.

I heard there is a research that engineers have tried to make machinery understandable to human voices, and this technology is going to be available in various areas.
It will take a little more time for us to use this astounding system, but it is worth to wait until it has been practical.

Tell about Some Recent Computer News

Red Hat, a computer software provider, recorded 24% of losses in its earnings, because of the announcement by Oracle that it cut down its prices.

Oracle is the second biggest computer software provider in the world, and this movement is a competitive way for Red Hat.

Red Hat has been getting money from service and support to its customers. However, Oracle, the competitor of Red Hat, declared that it gives services to Red Hat’ products with half price compared with that of Red Hat.

Although Red Hat insisted the security risks for its users can be increased and compatibility can be damaged, the market price of Red Hat has been decreasing.

Jason Maynard of Credit Suisse pointed out that Red Hat’s customers have benefits that they can save their money and get well-organized services from Oracle.

Net Neutrality

Net Neutrality is the rule that web browser should be controlled by content or/ and application they look or use on the Internet.

Many companies, such as Google, have carried out its net business since the Internet had begun. As a result of that, a peculiar group of company can abuse content and application.

In the United States, this net neutrality is a debatable issue. Some people insist that neutrality is necessary because it will promote competitive society. The other also state that network can justify what it observes people by huge power of the Internet.

Even if the debate has not finished yet, the Congress can make a new telecommunication law to net neutrality.
It is said that once broadband companies have gotten the permission by the Congress, the shape of the online will be changed.

Computer Gifts I Would Buy for Friends & Family

I am unfamiliar with computer products, but I have heard about i-pod. i-pod is an internationally used music player, but I do not have it.

I have a two-year younger brother than I, and he has said that he has wanted a music player. Therefore, it will be better to gift i-pod to him because his birthday is coming soon. He must be pleasant for the gift, and he can enjoy his music life as soon as he will get i-pod.

To my friends, songs downloaded by the Internet can be great gifts. We can get songs by downloading with reasonable cost whenever we want. What we have to do is only to follow the directions of music web sites. Once I have got nice songs, I can send them by several methods to my friends, such as sending with e-mail.

Such computer gifts must be great for everybody!

However, I am not be familiar with how to use music software, so I am annoyed when I use them. Gradually, I would like to adjust my favorite music for my comfortable time.

These two ways are What I Want to Learn About Computers.

My History of Computer

Come to think of it, I began to start using computers about 10 years ago.
At that time, I always used a computer in playing some games at my elementary school.

My father bought a computer to my family two years ago, so I was able to use the Internet whenever I want to use. However, I am not good at browsing even now.

In this September, my father also bought a computer to me, but I cannot access to the Internet by my computer because I have not set up my computer so as to use the Internet.

Therefore, I use computers at the library of NIC when I want to use the Internet in order to get enough information.

I want to use the Internet as soon as possible by my computer....
